Dr. Michael Savko is a Pennsylvania-licensed chiropractor who has worked with both people and companion animals since 2000. A lifelong Pittsburgher, he graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1998 and has been involved in clinical practice, patient advocacy, and practice management ever since. Dr. Savko completed his initial animal-focused training in 2000 and then worked extensively in a veterinary hospital with a local veterinary surgeon to complete his technique certification. He returned to the coursework in 2005 for additional training in technique advancements and has continued working alongside veterinarians throughout his career. His extensive clinical experience and training in a variety of techniques have helped shape the gentle, comprehensive, whole-body approach used today at Animal Healing NOW. He enjoys working with animals of all sizes and at all stages of life, with the goal of supporting movement, comfort, function, and quality of life. An animal lover for as long as he can remember, Dr. Savko shares his life with his wife, Tracy, and their dogs. Away from practice, they enjoy music, art, books, movies, nature, and quiet time together at home. Dr. Savko is also the author of The Conscious Animal Companion, written to help people become more thoughtful, informed, and confident partners in the health and well-being of the animals they love.
Dr. Jeremy Succop graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2004 and returned home to the Pittsburgh area, where he has been in clinical practice ever since. After completing his animal-focused training, Dr. Jeremy worked with Dr. Savko and a local veterinarian to complete his technique certification. His work with animals has become an important part of his professional life, and working alongside veterinarians continues to support both his passion for learning and his love for animals. Animals have been part of Dr. Jeremy's life since childhood, including horses, dogs, cats, and birds. His experience, calm approach, and commitment to each individual animal make him an important part of the Animal Healing NOW team. Dr. Savko and Dr. Jeremy have known and worked with one another since the mid-2000s, first working together in a busy chiropractic practice before eventually bringing that longstanding professional relationship to Animal Healing NOW. Outside of practice, Dr. Jeremy enjoys life with his daughter, Mariana, and their cats, Rosie and Lilly.
