NATIONALLY CERTIFIED K9 SEARCH AND RESCUE named Duke was unable to even jump or walk steps without pain, is helped by Dr. Savko.
"No one could tell me what was wrong with him, all they wanted to do was meds and tests. Dr. Savko saved not only my partner, but my heart."
I heard about Dr. Savko from my uncle who is a chiropractor. I was distraught. My K9 partner of 7 years was no longer able to jump into my car, or walk up our steps without being in pain. There was no visible signs of trama. There was no injury that I witnessed. I called upon numerous vets and no one could tell me what was wrong with him. They all wanted to do xrays, and lab tests. One even suggested a regimen of pain meds. Why? They had no idea what was even wrong with him. All of these options would have cost me hundreds of dollars, or more, with no guarantees. I called Dr. Savko. He was HONEST right from the start. He LISTENED to me and my concerns. He even texted me when I had questions. He is a very supportive caring doctor. After consulting with my veterinarian, we scheduled an appointment at the office in the Holiday Park Animal Hospital.
Visit one:
Duke met with Dr. Savko. Doc checked him out and determined where the pain was, and right away explained to me what was happening to Duke's body. He worked on him, and even used his magic magnets ( lol sorry I forget exactly what they do ). He explained that Duke would be a little sore, but should improve over the next week.
Visit two:
We had our appointment. Duke jumped in the back of my car!!! For the first time in over a month, he was starting to be more active. I could start to see a different pup. A pup that was in less pain.
Visit three:
Duke for the first time was able to jump on the couch with me. It was the best nap that I had taken in months. He was running again, even though I was still limiting his activity, I could see my partner coming back.
Visit four:
Duke was back to his normal self!!!! He jumped in the back of my car - no limping, pain or crying. He JUMPED in my bed and slept with me for the first time in months. My partner was back. We are going to compete in a canine biathalon this weekend. He will be able to do all the events. It is a dream come true. If you are giving up hope, and you dont know what to do, turn to Animal Healing NOW. Dr Savko is amazing, and he is compassionate.

Lucy the cat with IBD (Irritable Bowel Disease)
Mom, Amy, was at a loss. After looking into holistic options and discussing things with her vet, she decided to visit us at the Greenfield Veterinary Hospital. In only a few visits Lucy's meds are significantly reduced, and she is doing much better.
"I do not even know where to begin. In the words of Winnie The Pooh, "At the beginning." Let me first say Dr. Mike is beyond AMAZING!!! I LOVE HIM and cannot believe we who have pets have the good fortune of having access to such a talented, loving, caring, empathetic, knowledgeable individual. Anyone who knows me KNOWS I have SERIOUS TRUST ISSUES. That being said, I would do anything for my pets and spare nothing when it comes to them. Dr. Mike IS the bar and Platinum-Star-Standard. They don't get any better than him!!! I trust him IMPLICITLY!!!
Backstory: I was at a total loss and heartbroken over the recent diagnosis of IBD (irritable bowel disease) for my cat Lucy. Lucy is not your average, ordinary cat. Lucy is special. I know, I know, everyone claims to have the perfect, most special pet. However, Lucy IS a very special and unique creature. I cannot even say cat. Lucy was a rescue I took in. No one wanted Lucy. She was in a shelter where I volunteered. She followed me everywhere. I already had five rescue cats and my husband said "no more." However, every day I went in to the shelter, Lucy followed me EVERYWHERE. She was my shadow. She was such a pathetic looking little thing. She weighed maybe 3 pounds, and leaked stufff from EVERY orifice. No one would adopt Lucy. I could not handle the images and her face in my head one more night as I tried to fall asleep. I adopted Lucy.
From the moment I brought her into my home until this very second, even at her sickest, she has NEVER failed to show me gratitude. She is my heart. I was devastated with the news that she had IBD. How much more was this special little creature supposed to endure? I was reluctant to have the scope done on her, but needed to get an answer to her obvious suffering. After the diagnosis of IBD, she was put on steroids. Even though it was a mild, relatively low dose of steroid, it was still a steroid. I did not want my cat living on medicines. I wanted better. After discussing things with my vet and trusted pet sitter, I enlisted the help of Dr. Mike.
AMAZING!!!! I was speechless after the first visit. I noticed a visible difference in Lucy IMMEDIATELY!!! From the first visit to the last, Dr. Mike understood the problem and had an outline for a course of action that would HEAL Lucy. All I have been praying for is that she is healed. I do not want to manage a condition. I want to HEAL the condition. Dr. Mike has done that. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, loving, empathetic and compassionate. Above all, he is honest. He told me in the very first phone conversation, "if I cannot help Lucy, I will tell you." It is incredible for me to see the progress Lucy has made. She is now off of her daily doses of Miralax 2x a day, morning and night. She is on a much lower dose of the steroid, and I just put in another call to the vet to see if it can again be lowered, with the goal of lowest possible dose, hoping for none at all. He has done this all over the course of a few visits. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mike. Natural health is my way of life personally and am beyond thrilled I have found my miracle worker for my pets. I would trust NO ONE else and am confident I have a life partner in working through the medical issues of my pets HEALING them instead of just treating them. There IS a difference. I don't care how big or small the issue with your pet, CALL DR. MIKE!!! I take the lives and responsibility of my pets VERY SERIOUSLY.
BONUS FOR CLIENTS:
Dr. Mike has several locations in veterinary hospitals throughout the area. The appointments are no fuss-no muss, get in and get out. I have never had to wait past my appointment time. Incredibly punctual and efficient which makes life for all of us much easier.
I refer him to you without hesitation or reservation."

When no one else knows whats wrong, Dr. Savko comes to the rescue!
3 weeks of chasing symptoms with all sorts of drugs, considering MRI and surgery. No results. No idea what was going on. Confused, frustrated, worried...until they saw Dr. Savko.
“We went home that night to NO symptoms of pain and discontinued all medications!!!!!
She is now playing! She is better than normal! Sophie had surgery to remove a fatty tumor on the back of her neck. All went well, but about a month later she began having severe pain, holding up her front paw and limping, yelping and crying with severe muscle spasms in her chest muscles.
We went through many different medicines to treat everything from seizures to pinched nerve with only minimal relief. The next step would have been costly MRI to possible surgery when our vet recommended trying Dr. Savko. I was skeptical, but would try anything before MRI & surgery. After 1 half hour treatment that Sophie relaxed into and enjoyed, we went home that night to NO symptoms of pain and discontinued all medications!!!!! After 1 month, she has not shown one sign of discomfort & we have been given our happy dog back. Thank you Dr Savko for helping Sophie and being so patient and gentle with her and very thorough with all of your explanations to help us understand her treatment. “

So the trainer says "and why are you seeing this horse...."?
Silvia is a veterinarian's horse. Dr. Savko had seen few of his small animals with great success and he wanted to have an evaluation on his horse as well. Why? Just to see if we found anything. The horse did have a bit of an attitude at times and since his daughter rides her competitively, he wanted to make sure Silvia felt her best. When the trainer first saw Dr. Savko working she skeptically, yet politely asked "And exactly why are you seeing this horse?" The veterinarian explained what was happening to this trainer that has over 30 years of experience. And now for the POINT...
At our one week follow up the trainer was actually holding Silvia while Dr. Savko did his work, the doctor politely asked her if she noticed any changes in Silvia over the week. The trainer, with an excited smile then said, "Silvia is not wrenching her neck around when I turn her out, her stool is much more normalized, her eyes are clearer, she is much, much easier to ride, and seems more comfortable". "So you are pleased", the doctor asked with a smile. She nodded her head and with an even bigger smile said "YES I AM"! Next we did our 2 week follow up visit and Silvia was holding her improvements well! Dr. Savko was brought in on this case to treat for attitude, and so far has helped with bowel function, comfort level, ocular function, and mindset. That all started improving in one week. Please remember, this is not just about sore necks and backs, although Silvia had both.

Laryngeal Paralysis, 12yo, male, lab named Chocky
Heavy breathing and hacking especially with eating, very slow to get around, would not get in car or go up on couch, could not jump. Arthritis in hips. 8 months duration and getting progressively worse. Family was very worried about Chocky's quality of life, things did not look good. Well, this photo is Chocky after a few visits, outside, hanging in the driveway! He is eating and drinking without hacking, he is way more active, he gets in and out of the car and NOW plays, and gets up and down off of the couch. He jumps! He is very playful and loving! He is LIVING! With LAR PAR the muscles in the front of the throat and the ribcage get tight from the disorder, which then makes everything worse, if we can find and free the muscles in these areas, as well as stimulate improved nerve/body communication we can get RESULTS!

We don't discriminate here Animal Healing NOW with Dr. Michael Savko, we help ALL animals GREAT and SMALL. Here is Betsy's story:
"A friend borrowed Betsy, my bearded dragon lizard, to take into her classroom. She was teaching a lesson about reptiles. On the way to bring Betsy home, my friend was in a car accident. The accident jolted Betsy pretty badly causing her to have a fractured skull. Betsy could not turn her head to the left. Therefore, if I placed her food in that direction she would see and smell the food, but would turn in the total wrong direction. It was frustrating for her, and it also kept her from eating. She was in pain, lethargic, depressed, and sometimes starving. A friend highly reccomended Dr. Savko, so I decided to give him a chance to help, I was willing to try anything after WEEKS of watching her suffer. I can honestly say I was surprised. After ONLY ONE TREATMENT!!! I saw a significant improvement. She was able to turn to her left immediately afterwards!
I am forever thankful I took her to Dr. Savko because she is now back to normal and living a healthy life."

Heart problem and fluid build up in lungs
Mom, Mary was told Zar only had few days to live, and after thousands of dollars and many hours in the hospital, that there was nothing they could figure out or do, and he should be put down immediately. Zar lived WELL for over a year after seeing Dr. Savko!
"My dog Zar during his yearly checkup was found to have an issue with his heart and fluid buildup in his lungs. My vet told me he had days to live, Zar was only 4 years old, my vet sent me to a local specialty/emergency clinic. After a whole day there and thousands of dollars, their conclusion was that it was a mystery. Zar had his lungs drained but the fluid got so bad his eyelids filled with water, he looked like a monster. A friend of ours recommended Dr. Savko. Thank GOD they did because after the first visit Zar bounded out of the office. The next morning the fluid had gone from his eyes and chest. We saw the Dr. a couple times over the first few weeks. When Zar improved Dr. Savko cut the visits down, he could've taken advantage of us and kept the same amount of visits but he didn't. Zar still had the bad heart but his 3 day death sentence had come and gone. I had Zar for over a year, a good year! He was active and happy. Zar died peacefully in his sleep. Thanks to Dr. Savko we had the time to say goodbye, Zar was not ready to die and l was not ready to let him go when l was told he would be dead in 3 days and to just put him down then and there. I have since sent many people and animals to Dr. Savko, not one person has been disappointed. If your pet has walking issues, pain, or any other problem see Dr. Savko! He is a miracle worker and affordable , not to mention honest. One of the best kept medical secrets in Pa. Spread the word, your friends and family will thank you, and your furry friends will be healthy and happy!"

Saw every doctor, every specialist, had every test...NO RESULTS
MRI/Orthopedist/Neurologist/Acupuncture/Laser/X rays/Bloodwork etc...they just could not figure out what was wrong with Arielle or get any long lasting results. She did better on the meds, but when the meds were taken away, she regressed. For OVER ONE YEAR she walked with all her pressure on her front legs. A cat that used to be able to jump straight up in the air several feet, could not even attempt to jump on the couch. She was all hunched up, leaning forward, doped up for an unknown cause to an unknown condition, lethargic and in constant pain. The parents had "tried everything". They were heartbroken, exhausted...until they met Dr. Savko. In just two weeks Arielle "had several bursts of activity, she was more playful!" After about six weeks she is actually initiating play with her brother. "Much more active, more social" mom says, "with no setbacks"! The previous last ditch approach was going to be exploratory surgery just to get a look see what was going on inside since nothing else was helping or giving any solid information as to WHY she was this way. Well, Arielle sure did have a jammed up lower back, (but not jammed enough to show up on MRI or radiographs), and she is VERY sensitive there too. But we are gradually releasing the muscle spasms, we are removing interference from the nerves so she can start to HEAL.
THIS IS IMPORTANT: Her body was stuck in what Dr. Savko calls "response mode", the body didn't know what to do but spasm and inflame to try and "protect" the area. Well that just pinches the nerves more increasing pain, decreasing function, and inhibiting LIFE.
After a few short weeks, we are now in "healing mode" where the body is producing natural muscle relaxers, anti inflammatories, and pain killers. It is releasing and relaxing...Arielle is getting better! Arielle is living!!!!

The DREADED IVDD is no match for Animal Healing NOW!
Limping Dachshund, Crying Dachshund, Spinal Injury, Worried Parents...MRI, Spinal Surgery, or worse...after just one visit they "noticed a huge difference". Read on to see how powerful a visit with us can be: "For those of you that own a dog who has back problems, keep reading. For those of you that own a dog that COULD have the potential to have back problems, keep reading. I have two dachshunds, Knox and Dezzy. Like most dachshunds, Knox is crazy and likes to jump off of things, even when we aren't looking and we THINK we have everything blocked off. Before Thanksgiving, Knox started to limp. We noticed he was walking really slow, wouldn't put his head up much and would just cry for no reason. When we would pick him up, he would cry for minutes on end. It was agonizing to watch and to hear him in so much pain.
We took him to the vet right away. The vet dosed him up on all kinds of pain meds, did an x-ray of his neck and told us that there was a suspicious area in his neck. She recommended we take him to a Pittsburgh emergency hospital where he should see a dog neurologist and get an MRI. She recommended that we crate him until further notice. We went home that night thinking the worst. What if he has to have back surgery? Should we take him to get the MRI? Should we take him to get looked at by a neurologist? Dachshunds are known to have back problems and right away we thought knew if we took him to this emergency vet, we would be spending thousands. We decided to crate him and wait a few days. In the meantime, I started researching like crazy. Kerry and I have practiced holistic medicine and essentials oils for a long time. I just kept thinking, what if there is another alternative?
That's when I found Animal Healing NOW. I reached out to him through email that Friday night. I told him the issue and he thought he could help. He replied within an HOUR! We made plans to get on a call with him the next day. He spoke to us for about 45 minutes about himself and what he does. He is a licensed chiropractor who is certified to work on animals. He works with veterinary referral, in house under a veterinarians supervision and uses a process called VOM, in addition to this, we also learned that he uses and believes in Doterra Essential Oils.. music to our ears! The first appointment, Dr. Savko was very thorough. He diffuses essential oils during the visit. He explained and showed us exactly how the technique worked. Here is what was interesting: the vet took x-rays of Knox's neck area. She thought that was the issue. Just by using his technique and seeing the reflexes, Dr. Savko was actually able to determine that his problem area was his lower back. He recommended Knox come once a week for a month and then if he did well, we would space the visits out. After the first treatment we noticed a huge difference in Knox. He had a little more spunk and he was starting to act like himself again. It's now January and Knox is pain free, walking normal and back to his normal dog self! We are now seeing Dr. Savko once every 6 weeks and Knox has had no issues. There is no doubt that veterinarians can help with many issues, but if you can fix a dog without surgery or medicine, why wouldn't you give it a try? This technique doesn't provide miracles overnight, but you have to TRUST the process. If Dr. Savko is unable to help, he will tell you up front. This process will not and won't ever hurt your animal. He does not do any type of manipulation with the animal. There is no bending or cracking involved. So what do you have to lose? I'm so happy we found Dr. Savko! Owning two dachshunds who are prone to back problems, we will continue our maintenance visits, even for Dezzy (our other dachshund)!"

Severe spinal trauma and disc injury for poor Pugsly, no function or movement in his lower body.
Euthanasia or spinal surgery were the ONLY options mom was given for Pugsly. Looking for better advice mom found us and after a second opinion with a vet smart enought to know it is SAFE and WISE to work with Dr. Savko, we had Pusgly at 100% in three non invasive, cost effective, natural visits. "Dr. Savko is a life saver! I have a 5 month old male Holland Lop bunny named Pugsly. One morning this past December, I found him sitting with his back legs splayed open and he had defecated all over himself with no function or movement in his lower body. Without hesitation I rushed him to an Emergency Animal hospital!
With a physical exam, but no X-Rays, the Dr. at the ER explained his symptoms were because he had unfortunely somehow suffered spinal trauma. She said my options would be to euthanize him or surgery followed with physical therapy. Thank God I knew someone who instantly recommended me to Dr. Savko! I went to see a veterinarian who refered me to Dr. Savko and not only did he save me thousands in vet bills, but after only a few sessions Pugsly made a full recovery without any surgery! Extremely grateful for his work and I would highly recommend him!"

6.5 year old rescued Rottweiler Murdoch diagnosed with torn ligaments in BOTH legs. Healed NATURALLY, and quickly after working with Dr. Savko. Owners were told that surgery was their main option, plus meds of course. What else is new?
Getting a surgical consultation is wonderful when needed. Dr. Savko works with veterinary surgeons almost every day. Getting a non surgical consultation can also be magnificent, as it was here for Murdoch and many other cases. This would have either worked, or not, and good boy Murdoch could have still had surgery if the parents thought it best. If so, having some therapy pre surgery is usually a great idea for both people and pets to get the body in better condition to handle the stress. In fact often times the patient can recover faster with therapy than without.
Murdoch saw Dr. Savko, at the Greenfield Veterinary Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa after referral from a wise veterinarian, IMAGINE THAT! Within just a few visits Murdoch started getting better! He is already on maintenance, and holding very well. He is a very active and loving companion with fantastic parents! Thank God they gave Dr. Savko a chance to help heal this animal, non invasively, and affordably, with no chance of any sort of harmful side effects! Where is the downside to this one-of-a-kind healing experience? Thank God some veterinarians recognize the power of Dr. Savko's work.
Animals CAN heal naturally. WE do it every day! Many have referred to Dr. Savko as a "miracle worker". For him, it is a pleasure and an honor to be able to help these pets, these owners, and these veterinarians enhance the quality of care, NATURALLY, SAFELY, and very EFFECTIVELY! You have not tried everything unless you have seen Dr. Savko. What are you waiting for?

Saved from 2 knee surgeries! Penny is only 3 and was diagnosed with bilateral ligament tears and luxating patellas. That sounds scary.
Mid May of 2016, Not even 24 hours before surgery mom called to talk to Dr. Savko. Her family was just not feeling good about putting this young little girl through this process...TWICE. That is right folks a hip and a knee surgery on each leg was the only recommendation they got, so that must be their only option, right? 4 surgeries a 3 year old dog...that seems aggressive, don't you think?
Dr. Savko told mom that his non invasive and gentle therapies couldn't hurt and it may be worth a try to see if he could help. He also told her that the case would not be accepted if they didn't think it would help or if it was really clear that surgery right now was the only way. After all, if the animal healing didn't work as well as they wanted, surgery could always be rescheduled. Why wouldn't we try and do something non invasive anyways before we cut and slice and drug? What if the natural way works or even helps? That sure would save a lot of stress to this young little girl as well as money for this family. It also really limits the potential side effects from the surgery and the medications both now and as Penny lives her life. Well mom and dad had more discussions, and instead of surgery that Wednesday afternoon, they brought Penny to the Suburban Animal Clinic for animal healing NOW. She began to improve immediately. Before the third visit she was "doing a lot more" and she was "much better". 2 visits folks. 1 weeks time. After a few more visits she was doing steps and running and playing with minimal limping and favoring. Penny's parents were thrilled. You know what the secret was? The low back was in severe spasm. Once we released the muscle tension and got the nerves communicating better with the brain and the body, the leg muscles and nerves were able to calm down then Penny started getting better. The back was making the legs worse. Penny did have one exacerbation after she had gotten better, so we did some therapies a little more frequently and Penny the wonder dog is bouncing back yet again.

17 year old poodle named Star is 80% improved after just one visit with Dr. Savko, previously she could barely walk due to weakness and loss of balance. She also had difficulties turning and holding her neck up.
"I have to admit I was skeptical when my vet suggested we take our 17 year poodle to Dr. Savko. She had neck and walking issues. Within the first week after her first visit her balance and walking were dramatically improved about 80%. Her last few months with us (she suffered from dementia & other illnesses) were much better because of the treatments we received from Dr. Savko. I wish we had known about him earlier so our 'little Star' would have had a better quality of life. I would recommend that one does not hesitate to make an appointment and give Dr. Savko a chance to make your pet feel better!"

FHO surgery on 10/20/17. Leg still dragging over 2 months later. Femoral head osteotomy, also referred to as a femoral head ostectomy or FHO, is the surgical removal of the head and neck of the femur. In simpler terms, it is the removal of the “ball” part of the ball-and-socket that makes up the hip joint.
Wilber is a 2 year old beagle that was looking to get adopted from Midwest BREW (Beagle Rescue, Education and Welfare) . They wanted to get him in better shape, in the hopes he would find his forever home. One of the veterinarians that Dr. Savko works with saw Wilber's post surgical condition and thought that by getting Dr. Savko involved we might be able to help Wilber get better. In just one visit Wilber was bearing more weight, after 2 visits he was putting "much more weight on the leg". Within one month Wilber was not only able to use the leg, he was RUNNING! He found his HOME shortly afterwards! There is a strong possibility Wilber may still be in the foster home and still limping if this vet had not made the referral to Dr. Savko. There is no reason why your vet can't do the same for YOU and your furry family and friends! Here's what foster mom Beth had to say: "Dr. Savko performed a miracle on my foster beagle, Wilber. Wilber was hit by a car and had to have an FHO on his left hip. After the surgery he just dragged his left leg. After a few visits, Wilber not only started walking and using his left leg, he also started running. So happy to see this miracle healing for Wilber who was able to find his forever home. Dr. Savko is also very nice and explains everything. He is very gentle and sets up a very calming environment as he works. I highly recommend him."
